WORLDman 4416 Sugar Pie Guy Vest Stripe
A sleeveless cardigan vest, relaxed in shape and fit. Woven in a soft summer weight cotton with loose blob-like stripes running across the body. Slouch over the Macho Man Shirt with the Superfreak shorts or under the Tony Blazer with the Travolta Jeans.
This collection WORLD has been inspired by the nostalgic idea of getting all dressed up to take yourself out!!! Playing with the iconic film 'Saturday Night Fever', based on the famed article 'Tribal Rites of the new Saturday Night' by British music writer Nik Cohn. Published by the New Yorker in 1976, Cohn celebrated a new dance scene, but more importantly a weekend frivolity and fraternity that grew out of working class neighbourhoods, like Bay Ridge in Brooklyn. Allow this collection to give you the spirit and excitement to get all dressed up like you were stepping out into club 2001 Odyssey to the beat of Staying Alive...
This garment has been designed and made in Auckland, New Zealand with locally woven fabrications and notions sourced internationally.
