WORLD 4013 Flatiron Cardigan
This collection was created with 23 Skidoo, the Flatiron Building 1960 American tall tale, in mind along with inspiration from the era’s colloquial slang and iconic mementos.
The Flatiron Building is a triangular 22-story steel-framed landmarked building located at 175 Fifth Avenue in the borough of Manhattan, New York City. The building sits on a triangular block, the name “Flatiron” derives from its resemblance to a cast-iron. Fun Fact: Once the foundation was set, the floors went up at a rate of one floor per week. And once the steel frame was done, it only took four months to finish the building, which was completed in June 1902.
The WORLD Flatiron Cardigan is a wrapping, folding, and draping loose weave knit cardigan with chartreuse contrast.
