Mona Di Orio Violette Fumee 75mL
With the creation of Violette Fumée, Mona composed the melody of Jeroen Oude Sogtoen's favorite passions, memories and materials.
With flirty florals like violet and rose fumed with pipe tobacco, the exquisite smoothness of cashmere and suede, and deep resinous undertones, this warmly smoldering scent evokes Jeroen's sensorial love for luxury, and makes him feel, dream, travel and remember.
Revved at the start, crisp, fresh notes of herbal lavender and sparkling bergamot pair with inky oakmoss and get a twist as the scent unfolds into the elegance of vetiver and clary sage.
The shy violet and iconic rose develop into a powdery and gourmand fume and then ramp up as spicy and savory notes of aphrodisiac saffron and smoky bois de gaiac communicate with the florals and begin to ignite.
The smoldering continues as resinous opoponax, myrrh, and musky cashmeran dive slowly into an intense velvety embrace.
Mediterranean lavender, Calabrian bergamot, oakmoss from the Balkans, Egyptian violet flowers and leaves, Turkish rose, Haitian vetiver, clary sage, Somalian opoponax and myrrh, cashmeran.
MAISON MONA DI ORIO
Maison Mona di Orio defines unconventional perfume traditions that align olfactory chiaroscuro with the richness of golden age perfumery and uncompromising luxury. In the spirit of Haute Parfumerie, Maison perfumes bloom on skin revealing a harmonious orchestration of light, art and nature.
Founded in 2004, Maison Mona di Orio was created by the perfumer, Mona di Orio, and designer, Jeroen Oude Sogtoen, as a union of their mutual love of art and artisanal craftsmanship. Mona trained in classical perfumery for ten years alongside world-renowned perfumer Edmond Roudnitska.
Influenced by light and nature, Mona sought to capture the quintessence of an ingredient. She constructed fragrances as a composer, playing on harmonies and melodies that develop with skin.
Her characteristic style is a journey of light and dark elements with lively, sparkling notes that recall the joyous moment of opening a bottle of champagne, layered with dark, seductive nuances and mysterious pleasures. With a distinct focus on craft and quality, raw materials are carefully selected and controlled by Accords et Parfum in Cabris, the prestigious atelier founded by Mona’s master, Monsieur Roudnitska, and known for their standards of excellence.
With the highest quality ingredients, Mona achieved unique identity and credibility with her constructions that seem almost minimalist in formula, yet strikingly faceted in composition and a lasting sillage.
