Tangent GC Organic Hand Soap Fir 350ml
Inspired by his grandfather, David Samualsson founded Tangent GC to provide a superior range of garment and skin care products, not emanating from the chemical industry or flung off conveyor belts, but products that naturally and effectively give your garments a long life and your skin the best treatment.
Fir is a perfumed, organic soap – crafted with pure vegetable oils. The Siberian fir, native to the taiga east of the Volga, smells compelling where it stands. Pressed between your fingertips, the needles release a balsamic wood aroma as well as a resounding top note with crisp, fleeting pinene.

MISSION STATEMENT FROM TANGENT GC:
This is green
Ever since we set out in 2012 sustainability has been central to us. Our products are natural and organic, and they have been from the outset. The natural aspect was important, not only in order to avoid harmful chemicals, but as a mean to raise the overall product quality. We have applied the same strict rules when formulating new products and adding them to our range. In summation “This is green” means that Tangent GC skin and garment care products are:
- Organic and vegan
- Cruelty and fossil free
- Sustainably produced and packaged
Natural and organic
The plants used have been grown organically, without pesticides and chemical fertilisers. We are determined not to add unnecessary toxins to the soil or to the overfertilisation of our seas.
We have excluded all animal contents in our products, for example animal fats and waxes, lanolin or beeswax, which are commonly used in skincare products.
Cruelty and fossil free
Our products are fossil free which means that we don’t use any petroleum or derivates from petroleum. We don´t want to add to dependence of oil. Or spread avoidable greenhouse gases for that matter. Cruelty free means that our products never have been tested on animals. And they never will be.
Production and packaging
All of our products are produced close to home, in Sweden and neighbouring European countries. This way we cut lots of emission from transportation. All of our bottles are made of bioplastic, a plastic made of plants instead of oil. It binds more CO₂ than it releases viewed over the product’s life cycle. All of our tubes we are made of aluminium, a lightweight metal that can be recycled forever with maintained product quality.
