CARVEN Ma Griffe 100ml EDP
The couture legacy, the unabashed femininity, the modernity despite its 70 years, the refinement of a superb chypre harmony, and, finally, simplicity, the signature of the House of Carven.
Mrs Carven created in 1946 a fresh, dashing, very flowery fragrance while remaining classic with a touch of haute couture.
Its name imposed itself quite naturally. It would bear the name of Madame Carven's signature dress of simple green and white striped cotton: Ma Griffe.
A legendary fragrance inspired by Madame Carven's favourite flowers: Gardenia, Jasmine and Rose.
Carven puts the glorious chypre fragrance born in 1946 back in centre stage, 70 years after its creation without touching its original formula.
The top notes are a burst of freshness: Bergamot, Lemon, Gardenia Bud.
The heart is a profusion of Jasmine against notes of Sandalwood, Rose and Ylang Ylang.
In the base is a masculine note built around Vetiver, Musk, Tonka Bean and Styrax.
It is a fragrance of happiness with a terribly elegant trail.
The Parisian fashion house founded in 1945 by Marie-Louise Carven was focused primarily on creating couture before venturing into ready-to-wear in 1950. Today, Carven offers a chic, accessible take on French style with luxury apparel, fragrance, and bath and body care.
