Versailles, a Christmas evening in the 18th century

Everywhere the eye falls, light dances in the mirrors. In the hearth, the fire crackles, giving way to the ballet of flames. In the richly decorated Hall of Mirrors of the Château de Versailles, the firelight reflects and multiplies, reverberating endlessly.

Through the La Nuit des Glaces collection (the Night of Mirrors), the spirit of Trudon revives scents of burning wood and sweet treats. With a breath of wax or a powdery trail, the winter solstice takes on an air of splendour.

Called Madeleine, these candles used to illuminate the Madeleine church in Paris. They are made, employing traditional methods, in our Normandy workshop. Dyed in small lots, Madeleine candles are created from superior-quality wax.

Each box contains 6 Madeleine candles.
