WHY WE LOVE IT
We know that oval brushes aren’t a traditional shape, but believe us, these are clever hardworking brushes. The densely packed brush heads hold a ludicrous amount of bristles which pick up and disperse any kind of makeup product from liquid foundations to pressed powders for a not-really-their look.

For best use, try the large the oval brushes to blend liquid foundation over the skin from the inside of your face outwards, the bristles work their magic and create a smooth and even texture. The medium oval shape is perfect for buffing out foundation or powders along the jawline for a seamless look. The smaller oval shape is amazing at blending blusher on the cheeks to highlight cheekbones. The mini slim oval brush is a dream at working product along the eyebrow line and for applying product along the nose. The small round brush is our emergency touch-up brush, perfect for fixing detailed areas or covering spots or small marks.

CARE TIPS
These brushes like to be washed in lukewarm water and they hate being soaked, for the best results wash the tip of the brush and leave to dry over your counter or sink edge so water doesn’t run inside the metal section.

Born in London, Otis Batterbee has nearly 20 years of professional experience as a product, accessories and fashion designer, graduating from the acclaimed Central St Martins School of Art & Design in 2003.

Prior to launching Otis Batterbee, he designed accessories and products for some of the world’s leading luxury brands, skills that he’s used within his own collections.

His vividly patterned beauty bags were an overnight success with six months of stock selling out in just one week.

The Otis Batterbee quest to design and produce beautiful beauty tools and accessories has never been stronger with the launch of makeup brushes and blending sponges.

Otis Batterbee now counts a roster of global stockists and a number of beauty fans that include Rita Ora, Gwyneth Paltrow and Florence Welch.

Otis Batterbee’s ongoing mission is to craft clean, safe, products that are good for you and the planet. The brand is constantly searching for performance-driven sustainable materials, such as the use of recycled ocean plastic which is spun into nylon and used as the lining on all of the beauty makeup bags. We use FSC sustainable birchwood on the handles of all our makeup brushes too.
