The perfume extracts AGNETA and GUÉTHARY are the soul of Eight & Bob fragrances, they capture the craftsmanship, exclusivity and aristocratic air that represents Eight & Bob.

Guéthary is the name of the charming, romantic French village that inspired this fragrance. A place of relaxation, savoir-vivre and exclusivity. A place infused with salty and floral aromas and long since a place of rest for the Parisian elite.

An ode to the ambergris washed up on Atlantic coastlines, which highlights the mysterious addiction of this compellingly creamy fragrance infused with the seductive tones of marigold and dusted with pear blossom.

A work of passion inspired by a lifestyle, with an aroma that brings a sense of peace and tranquillity. An exaltation of ambergris, powerful to the core and yet elegant with musky and woody tones.

This fragrance reveals a unique personality that plays upon the contrast between freshness and intensity.

HISTORY

Albert Fouquet

The perfume with history - Eight and Bob was created by Albert Fouquet, the son of a French aristocrat. In a room on the upper floor of the family château, Fouquet created and perfected various essences for his own personal use aided by Philippe, the trusted family butler. At social events his fragrance was in high demand, however, Fouquet continually rejected proposals to market his fragrance. His fragrances were for his own delight, his own creative fulfilment and very personal as they told the stories of his favourite people and places. This all changed, however, one night in 1937 when Fouquet met a young John F Kennedy who fell in love with his fragrance and the rest, as they say, is history...
