This collection was created with 23 Skidoo, the Flatiron Building 1960 American tall tale, in mind along with inspiration from the era’s colloquial slang and iconic mementos.

In the 1920’s the slang was something like, “I have to go see a man about a dog.” This roughly translated to, “I’m going to go buy some whiskey.” There were also several variations to say one was drunk, “Chelsea was completely ossified, scrooched, splifficated and zozzled!”

The WORLD Slang dress is a relaxed singlet styled dress which finishes passed the knee created in a weighted cotton knit.
